Greek shipowner Enesel has returned to South Korea with an appetite for two more tankers, however, this time it has picked a different shipbuilder.
Namely, Enesel has been linked to an order for two 114,000dwt tankers at Daehan Shipbuilding scheduled for delivery in 2020.
The Greek shipowner will be paying around 114 million for the two IMO Tier III compliant Aframaxes.
Daehan Shipbuilding has already built two Aframaxes for Enesel, which were delivered in 2017, the Maltese-flagged Kyrakatingo and Antonis.
According to data from VesselsValue, the company has four very large crude carriers on order at Hyundai Heavy Industries. Three 319,000dwt VLCCs are set for delivery later this year and one in 2019.
The ships were contracted in en bloc order in February 2017 for a total of USD332 million, around USD83 million apiece.
