The naming and delivery ceremony of Hua Jing 1 and Hua Jing 2, two liftboats, which are built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd for Jiangsu Gulf Electrical Technology Co., Ltd, was held on July 21st.

Both platforms are self-elevating and self-propelled units with DP2 capability. They are classified into ABS under the Panama flag. Besides, this platform is 69.6m in length overall, 40.40m in width and 6.6m in depth at 6 knots of service speed. It is used for a variety of purposes in the offshore marine industry, be it oil and gas or windfarms.
