On January 4th, the second 7800m lane RoRo vessel was delivered by China Merchants JinLing Shipyard(Nanjing) CO., Ltd.

This Grimaldi Green 5th Generation-class (GG5G-class) vessel offers 7,800 meters for rolling goods transportation and can carry more than 500 trailers. It is the largest and the state-of-the-art RoRo vessel operated in short-sea shipping, which can carry more goods and increase operational efficiency by 100% in terms of consumption / tonne of freight transported.

It is 238m in length overall, 34m in width at the service speed of 20.8 knots. In accordance with the construction standards of RINA, it is also equipped with environmental-friendly devices.
