On August 25,  a 5800DWT Ice-reinforced MPP, the first vessel of this series, was launched by Wuhu Shipyard for Netherlands shipowners.

With Ice Class 1A reinforced hull, the vessel is a multi-purpose vessel driven by a single propeller and is suitable for worldwide navigation. The hull adopts the forecastle design and the stern is designed with a wide body rudder and wake equalizing duct, improving the ship performance and saving energy. Besides, it is driven by LNG and light fuel oil, meeting the Tier III emission requirements. In summary, It is an excellent work with advanced technology, perfect performance and green and low carbon.
