Chinese-Polish multipurpose and heavylift joint venture Chipolbrok has ordered up to four newbuilds at Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC).

The landmark order for the ZPMC shipyard is for two firm and two optional 38，000 dwt vessels.

No price or delivery dates have been revealed for the newbuild that will sport three 250-ton cranes.

Chipolbrok was set up over 70 years ago with a handful of old vessels， expanding over time to a fleet of around 30 units. According to shipbuilding sources， the last time it ordered new ships was in 2014.
