Norway's Havyard Group has bagged another newbuilding order from India’s Global Offshore Services.
The shipbuilder will build a platform supply vessel with an option for one more.
Havyard said the order for its 832 design, which is worth NOK 270m ($45m), is set to be handed over in July 2013 while the optional vessel would hit the water in March the following year.
Aditya Garware, managing director of Global Offshore Services, said, “Even though a Havyard vessel may cost more than vessels in some other countries, the quality and reliability of the vessels are extremely satisfactory.
