The offshore arm of Singapore’s Thong Yong Group has ordered two offshore supply vessels from China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding.

The deal for the two vessels is worth around $18.4m， with delivery set for September and December 2027.

The vessels will be designed and built in accordance with ABS standards. They will be 57.5 m long， 13.8 m wide， and have a full-load displacement of approximately 2，190 tonnes.

Equipped with bow thrusters and twin-engine， twin-propeller propulsion， it has a design speed of 12.0 knots and a range of up to 10，000 nautical miles.

The vessels will have a crew capacity of 60 people and a 300 sq m deck， making them suitable for heavy-load operations.

The OSVs are being designed for a wide range of missions， including offshore platform supply， engineering operations and maintenance， emergency rescue， and firefighting.
