China's Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry has reportedly won a series of bulker newbuilding orders from a Greek shipowner.
Laskaridis Shipping has exercised existing options for two 64,000-dwt bulkers.
And the shipowner also added fresh contracts for four same-type BCs.
Laskaridis also signed contracts for two kamsarmax bulkers, plus two options of the same type and acquired another two resale panamax BCs from the same shipyard.
All the bulkers are said to be scheduled for delivery by 2016.
