Cosco Shipyard Group has bagged $230m in newbuilding orders.

Cosco (Qidong) Offshore has inked a contract with an undisclosed Singapore company for a floating accommodation unit (FAU) with options for five more. The FAU is due to be delivered in the first quarter of 2017.

Meanwhile an unnamed European owner has declared an option for a 21,000 dwt module carrier at Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard. The vessel is due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2016.
