Dutch shipmanager Erasmus Shipinvest will buy a resale dry bulk carrier at a price of $28.7m from China Dalian International Group (CDIG).

The 64,000-dwt bulker, Mandarin Wisdom, is currently being built at Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry and is scheduled for delivery in November this year. The bulker will then be handed over to Erasmus Shipinvest by 15 November.

Shipbroker Clarksons has valued the bulker at $28.75m as at 14 October 2014, according to an announcement by CDIG to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

CDIG currently owns a fleet of 15 bulkers, including 14 ships of 57,000 dwt in capacity and one 49,000 dwt vessel, with a combined capacity of 847,000 dwt.

Erasmus Shipinvest, established in the Netherlands in 2010, manages a fleet of kamsarmaxes and panamaxes.
