Samsung C&T Corporation, together with Science-Tech Solutions (STS), has been awarded a contract by Petronas Gas to build an LNG regasification terminal in Johor, Malaysia.

Construction is expected to be completed by April 2018.

The regasification terminal is part of Malaysia’s development plan to secure a stable natural gas supply for the nearby Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID), Pengerang Co-generation Plant (PCP) and to the Peninsular Gas Utilisation (PGU) Grid.
