Offshore equipment fabrication and engineering yard Triyards Holdings announced that it has started the year with two new liftboat orders worth US$75.4m.

Triyards has won five new liftboat orders in the past six months with the latest contracts, for US-based operators, bringing the yard's newbuild pipeline to eight liftoats.

Triyards also reported a record 13 percent jump in net profit to US$8.2m for the first three months ended November 30, 2014. Revenue over the same period tumbled 37 percent to US$56.7m.
