The shipping industry is forecast to struggle in 2015 as the oversupply of vessels persists, reported a domestic shipping news portal, citing Li Zhen, chairman of Hong Kong-based Sinotrans Shipping Limited.

Li expects the shipping industry to strike a supply demand balance in a few years. He said he is worried about the dry bulk market in 2015.

He commented that the containership segment is full of throat-cutting competitions.
