A 65m emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) construction contract signed between COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard and UK-based shipowner Sentinel Marine has taken effect, according to a domestic shipping news portal.

The 1,450dwt vessel features 16.6m in width moulded and 6.8m in depth moulded, with a maximum speed of 13 knots.

The vessel is classed by ABS, the report added.
