Drybulk giant Star Bulk Carriers has sold ageing capesize Star Mega (170,631dwt, built in 1994) to an unnamed buyer.

Lowlands Beilun (170,162dwt, built in 1999) is now the oldest capesize vessel in the Star Bulk's fleet. It is currently on time charter to a major utility company until August.
