In mid-July, China's shipyard CSBC Corporation, Taiwan (CSBC) will formally sign contracts with the compatriot shipping companies Evergreen Marine Corp. and T.S.Lines separately for the construction of ten 3,000teu containerships and four 1,800teu containerships respectively, according to a domestic shipping news portal.

It is estimated that the ten 3,000teu boxships will cost more than US$35m each considering higher specifications required by Evergreen Marine, the report added.
