Greek owner Callimanopulos placed an order with shipyard China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. via the former's subsidiary TRADE AND TRANSPORT for the construction of two LR2 tankers and two Suezmax tankers.

The 114,000dwt LR2 tanker measures 250m in LOA, 44m in molded breadth, 21.5m in molded depth, with a designed draft of 13.5m and a service speed of 14.5 knots.

The 158,000dwt Suezmax tanker is 274m in LOA, 48m in molded breadth, 23.2m in molded depth, with a designed draft of 16m and a service speed of 14.5 knots.

The first vessel will be slated for delivery in the second half of 2017.
