Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of China's leading listed naval facility manufacturer China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), delivered a 319,000dwt crude oil tanker to China Merchants Group, the country's leading state-owned conglomerate on Sept. 8 this year, according to a domestic shipping news report.

The vessel is the eighth very large crude carrier (VLCC) DSIC has built for China Merchants Group, which marks a further strong cooperation between the two companies, said Du Gang, deputy manager of CSIC.
