Petredec Limited has announced today that contracts have been signed with Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to build four LPG carriers. The signed contract is for two firm 78,700cbm LPG carriers with an option attached to build a further two vessels.

Delivery of the pair is scheduled to be during the second and third quarter of 2017 and will bring Petredec's owned fleet of VLGCs to 17. Once in service, they will be amongst some of the most economical VLGCs in the global fleet.
