Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik inked a contract Sept. 1 with Livestock Transport & Trading Co. of Kuwait for the construction of one livestock carrier.

The 13,700dwt livestock carrier will measure 181 meters in length with a 8.7m draft.

The vessel's maximum speed will hit 19.8 knots.

The delivery date is set for the end of 2017. Uljanik did not disclose the value of the contract.
