CSIC-affiliated Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry has signed shipbuilding contracts with Dalian Jifa Ship Management and Dalian Port Wantong Logistics for the construction of two 1,100teu container vessels plus four options.

The vessels will be deployed in domestic coastal and Yangtze River markets. The first ship will be delivered in 2016.
