Navios Maritime Acquisition is the buyer of the two vessels reported sold by China VLCC, according to brokers.

The vessels are New Medal (297,600dwt, built 2009) and New Founder (297,400dwt, built 2008), which were sold en bloc for US$133m to the Navios-owned single-ship companies Tilos Shipping Corp and Delos Shipping Corp.

The purchase will bring Navios Maritime Acquisition's VLCC fleet up back to eight vessels, replacing two sold in June.
