Norwegian short sea specialist Wilson has sealed agreements to buy 2004-built 5,000 DWT bulker pair “Arklow Rover” and “Arklow Resolve” from Irish owner Arklow Shipping.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2020.

Wilson says the acquisition will be financed through equity and via the company’s existing loan facilities. It did not reveal the price paid for the pair.

Last month, Wilson acquired a pair of 5,000 DWT bulk carriers from UK-based Carisbrooke Shipping.
