Victor Resits led Enterprises Shipping and Trading (EST) has added to its fleet with the acquisition of a Capesize vessel from Germany’s Orion Bulkers, according to brokers.

Seasure Shipbroking and Advanced Shipping & Trading are both reporting that EST has paid $23m for the 2012-built (SWS) Capesize Gotia.

The price is substantially lower than the $24.72m market value according to VesselsValue, possibly due to the vessel having a survey due in April.

Upon completion of the deal, EST will have grown its Capesize fleet to ten while Orion will be left with two Capesizes in a fleet of 19 bulk carriers.
