On June 24, No.6 48,800 DWT chemical / product oil tanker built by Guangzhou Shipbuilding International Company Limited (GSI) for FPMC company was signed for a delivery, which marks the final stages of the construction of this series of vessels.

A total of six vessels in this series were signed between GSI and FPMC on April 27, 2017, which were delivered ahead of the contract period. They broke their records, such as using an inorganic zinc coating and MarineLine coating material.

This type of vessel is 183m in length overall, 32m in width and 18.3m in depth with 11m of design draft at the service speed of 14.5 knots. And the vessel is an optimized and environmental-friendly liquid cargo ship based on MR type. Furthermore, open-loop scrubbers were installed on the ship, meeting the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Tier III emission standard.
