On June 30^th, the first 600 FEU refrigerated containership “ Del Monte Gold” built by the CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company was delivered to American Del Monte. Both representatives, Pawel Maj at Del Monte and Xu Qing at Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding, who signed on the contract.

It is 192m in length overall, 30.8m in width and 15.9m in depth, carrying 26919t goods. It boasts an environmental-friendly vessel with the increasing cargo-carrying capacity, flexible loading and easy maintenance in compliance with the Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS) and Ballast Water Management Convention (BWM). Furthermore, it is of DNV class and its reefer containers are designed by the shipowner’s requirement.
