On July 28, the construction ceremony of 14,000KW cruise rescue vessel developed and designed by SDARI for Nanhai Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of PRC (NRB) was held on Mazhou Island of China Merchants.

This large vessel is 136.9m in length overall, 26.7m in width and 11m in depth. It is equipped with three engine rooms with high-speed and towing capacity. Besides, it is outfitted with a 250mt knuckle boom crane in heave motion compensation, a DP3 system, ROV(Remote Operated Vehicle) and a deep tow system.
