China International Marine, Port & Shipbuilding Fair (CIMPS) was again awarded the prize of '2011 China Top Ten Brand Exhibition,' during the second Annual Conference & Awards Ceremony on 13 December 2011.
CIMPS 2011 (April 12-14) rents an exhibition space of 24,000 sqm with 503 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions including 65 overseas exhibitors from Singapore, Italy, Germany, USA, Korea, Norway, Netherlands, Finland, UK, and Denmark, etc, with 5 National Pavilions: Singapore, UK, Korea, Finland, and Denmark. 
CIMPS 2011 has welcomed 8,263 professional visitors and buyers from 18 countries and regions, 1,239 of them from Europe, America and Southeast Asia, accounting for 15% of the total. The domestic visitors come from 23 provinces and municipalities.
CIMPS 2011 attracted more than 20 buyer-groups from home and abroad.
On April 12th, CIMPS & EUROPORT Contract Signing Ceremony was held in Nanjing International Expo Center. From 2012 on, China International Marine, Ports & Shipbuilding Fair will keep the original name and jointly organized by UAEC and Ahoy, with the new brand of CIMPS-Europort.
The 3rd edition of CIMPS-Europort will be held in Nanjing International Expo Center on May 23-25, 2012 which will be sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government  and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, co-organized by Jiangsu Economy and Information Technology Commission, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Municipal People's Government, Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce, PRC, co-organized by UAEC and Ahoy.
According to the current progress of preparation and the agreement between UAEC and Ahoy, there will be at least 14 national pavilions from Germany, France, UK, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, USA, Canada, Korea, Japan, Singaporeexhibiting in CIMPS-Europort 2012. Leading corporations like CSSC and CSIC will support the event as co-organizer and will be present at some of the important fringe programs.
