The naming and delivery ceremony of No.88 crude oil carrier built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. for COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. was held on September 23^rd.

Featuring a length overall of 333 meters and a width of 60 meters, the 319,000 DWT vessel is capable of transporting 2.2 million barrels of crude oil through the Straits of Malacca with a design draft of 20.5m. Besides, this very large crude carrier (VLCC) adopted a G-type main engine and high-efficient propeller.
