China’s CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu Shipbuilding won a bid for a newbuilding offshore support vessel, which will support oilfield expansion project, from China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL).
The 2,810 dwt newbuild is one of the offshore vessels COSL has put out to tender recently.
Meanwhile, Huangpu had announced that it put pens on a contract for two jack-up drilling rigs plus two options with Singapore’s Alliance Offshore Drilling and commenced the construction.
