China’s Sainty Marine has bagged a $280m order to build four 5,000 teu dual-fuel container vessels for a Germany’s Reederei NSB.

The contract comes with an option to construct five additional units.

The new container vessels, each costing $70m, will be constructed at the yard from 2015 with deliveries scheduled from 2017 onwards, according to Jiangsu-based Sainty Marine.
