China VLCC continued to expand its fleet, purchasing ten VLCCs from the second-hand vessel market, according to a domestic news report.

The company was jointly set up by CMES and Sinotrans & CSC.

It is said that the ten carriers were built between 2008 and 2014.

China VLCC acquired seven used VLCCs last November.

Up to now, China VLCC has enlarged its fleet to 28 vessels.
