Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd., based in Busan, South Korea, obtained an order to build 4+2 1,800teu boxships from Greek shipowner Cosmoship Management, which is the first newbuilding order secured by the yard in 2015, reported a domestic shipping news site.

The said containerships will be delivered in the third quarter of 2017, and the price remains undisclosed.

The Greek owner has so far placed a total order of 12 boxships and 2 Handysize bulk carriers in the Korean shipbuilder, added the report.
