COSCO sold two container vessels and two bulk carriers for demolition in April, which totaled 261,800dwt, the Chinese shipping giant COSCO announced late on Wednesday.

The four vessels were sold at an aggregate price of approximately RMB65m, which caused the company to suffer a loss of about RMB59m, the company added in the announcement.
