Chinese shipyard Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) held a steel-cutting ceremony for a 61,000dwt bulk carrier to be constructed for Fairweather Steamship Co., Ltd. on July 30, according to a domestic news report.

The vessel will measure 199.90m in length, 32.24m in width moulded, and 18.60m in depth moulded, with a service speed of 14.5 knots.

The delivery is scheduled for mid-2016.
