Japanese shipyard Tsuneishi Shipbuilding delivered the 81,600dwt bulk carrier Camellia Bliss to compatriot shipping company "K" Line in a ceremony held at Tsuneishi Factory Aug. 5.
This is Tsuneishi's 215th completed Kamsarmax.
The company pioneered the construction of these 80,000dwt to 82,000dwt bulkers in 2004 by modifying its design of 70,00dwt Panamax vessels.
The 229-meter Kamsarmaxes were named after the Port of Kamsar in Guinea, which has that vessel length restriction.
Camellia Bliss measures 32.3 meters wide, with a draft of 20 meters.
It is capable of sailing to the speeds of up to 14.5 knots.
