Xin Yuan Group (Hongkong) Corporation has reportedly ordered a pair of 7,499dwt asphalt carriers to be built at Sinotrans & CSC Shipbuilding Industry Corporation's Qingshan Shipyard.

The two asphalt carriers are scheduled for delivery in December 2016 and January 2017.

The latest order follows the launching ceremony of the first 12,800dwt asphalt tanker built by Qingshan Shipyard for Xin Yuan Group which was held on Sept. 14.

The vessel was the first 10,000-ton class asphalt tanker launched in Central China, and it will be delivered in early 2016.
