China's leading shipbuilder Cosco Shipyard has delivered a 64,000dwt bulk carrier Alexia to Lomar Shipping.

Alexia is registered in Singapore and will sail under the Singaporean flag.

The vessel measures 199.9 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18.5 meters in depth.

Lomar Shipping took delivery of two 64,000dwt bulkers from Cosco in 2015, and has three more of these Ultramaxes scheduled for delivery in 2017.

These Ultramax bulk carriers have been designed to carry up to 11% more cargo than conventional Supramaxes whilst consuming around 13% less fuel, according to Lomar.
